This project involved the transformation of a 2-bedroom house into 5 self-contained flats, achieved through a well-executed back extension and careful reconfiguration of the interior. The design focused on maximizing space efficiency, ensuring each unit was functional, modern, and provided independent living spaces. The goal was to enhance the property’s potential and create desirable flats for tenants, all while maintaining a high standard of design and construction.
• A large back extension was added to the property to increase its footprint and provide much-needed space for additional flats. The extension allowed for larger, more comfortable living areas, creating room for multiple self-contained units on the ground floor.
• The original 2-bedroom house was carefully reconfigured to create 5 individual flats. Each flat was designed to be self-contained, with its own kitchen, living area, and bathroom, ensuring privacy and independence for each resident.
• Every flat was designed with modern living in mind, utilizing space efficiently to create open and functional layouts. Each unit features contemporary kitchen and bathroom fittings, high-quality flooring, and ample storage solutions.
• Plumbing, electrical, and heating systems were upgraded to support the new multi-unit configuration. Each flat was provided with independent utilities (gas, electricity, water) to ensure autonomy and convenience for tenants.
